When we were looking to add a new buck we wanted to add depth of body, substance of bone and improved rear udder attachment, Dread has all these and more, he’s our full package. We also can’t complain about his genetics and the well attached udders behind him. He’s the son of SGCH CRF Castle Rock Penny Wise, a top 10 milker in 2011. Castle Rock Penny for Luck is Dread’s full sister and also a champion. Dread’s sire Castle Rock Harvest Moon has 5 champion daughters. He has consistently added significant rear attachment, improved teat placement and a nice increase in substance to his daughters. 2 of his daughters placed at 2019 Nationals (Celtic Ballad 11th and Ginger 19th).
